The holidays are a joyful time of year, but they can also be stressful as common challenges such as travel and seasonal illnesses arise. Staying healthy is important, and healthy holidays depend on both the patients and physicians who care for them.

Tip #1: Prioritize Care

One way to stay healthy during the holidays is to get your annual checkups, vaccines, and screenings done early. It’s important to address any minor problems early before they disrupt your holiday celebrations.

Tip #2: Manage Stress

The holidays can bring on stress for many people. Stress affects many aspects of your daily life including sleep, immune function, and mental health. Be sure to prioritize mindfulness and downtime this season.

Tip #3: Prevent Illnesses

Large gatherings make it easy for germs and illnesses to spread. Preventative measures such as washing your hands, getting adequate sleep, and staying home if you feel sick are ways you can prevent yourself or others from becoming sick.

For Physicians

Physicians face a heavy burden during the holidays. In addition to spending time with their loved ones, increased patient and documentation loads make it hard to not bring the office home. Thankfully, there are solutions specifically designed to help medical professionals.

DAX Copilot and Dragon Medical One (DMO) listen to the patient/physician conversation, automatically document visit summaries, and capture them directly to the EHR with ease.

By combining award-winning Dragon Medical One with DAX Copilot’s AI—trained on millions of encounters—physicians spend less time charting, experience less burnout, and finally leave “pajama time” behind.
